Turquoise Dofus guide: quests, steps, dungeons and tips
5 min read
The Turquoise Dofus is one of the six Primordial Dofus. You earn it by completing the 10 quests of the “Turquoise Blue” achievement, which take you through about a dozen dungeons, often with a mandatory idol. Prepare your resources and your group in advance: that is what makes the difference.

What the Turquoise Dofus does
The Turquoise Dofus is a level 160 item. It grants 10% critical hits. More importantly, each critical hit you land increases your final damage by 1% for 3 turns, stacking up to 10 times.
That makes it a favourite for crit-based characters: the longer the fight, the harder it hits. It is one of the six Primordials, alongside Emerald, Crimson, Ivory, Ebony and Ochre. Our Dofus eggs list covers all of them.
Prerequisites and preparation
The series is aimed at characters who are already well advanced. It follows the main Dofus storyline: the first quest, “Doomin and Dragons”, requires you to have finished the “But Where Are the Dofus?” series, up to its last quest “The Sorceress from the Swamps”, and to be at least level 80. Later quests ask for higher levels: for instance, you must be level 160 to start “Once Upon a Time in the West”. The series begins with Meriana, who hands out most of the quests.
For fights, plan on 3 solo fights, 6 fights that can be done as a group and 2 solo tactical fights, plus fights against monsters from specific zones. A well-geared character close to the item level progresses much faster.
Watch out : Recommended levels differ between guides and have changed with updates. The item level (160) remains the best benchmark: below it, several of the required dungeons will be tough.
The 10 quests of the “Turquoise Blue” achievement
Here are the ten quests of the achievement. The three blessing quests go hand in hand with the East, North and West quests: work on them together.
- 1Doomin and Dragons: gather two keys, won in the Dragon Pig’s Den and Soft Oak Clearing dungeons, to reach the dragon Aguabrial.
- 2Fire Extinction: the investigation continues, with an item to obtain from a mage and then a fight against a spirit.
- 3South It Seems: forge a shovel and dig up the totem of the South.
- 4The Mean Ol’ Witch of the East: head East, where you will need Vini’s blessing.
- 5Altar of the North: on to the North, where Thomahon’s blessing awaits.
- 6Once Upon a Time in the West: the last cardinal point, tied to Foluk’s blessing.
- 7Vini’s Blessing: three dungeons to clear with a Viti idol.
- 8Thomahon’s Blessing: four dungeons with a Thomahon idol.
- 9Foluk’s Blessing: three dungeons with a Foluk idol.
- 10A Wrathful Soul: the final quest, ending with a fight against Furye and the Turquoise Dofus as the reward.
The 12 dungeons to plan for
This is the core of the series. The first two are cleared normally; the other ten must be finished with a specific idol enabled, which makes the fights more demanding.
| Dungeon | Idol to enable |
|---|---|
| Dragon Pig’s Den | None |
| Soft Oak Clearing | None |
| Fouxwork Factory | Singed Viti Idol |
| Tynril Lab | Overgrown Viti Idol |
| Royal Pingwin’s Excavation | Frozen Viti Idol |
| Sphincter Cell’s Lair | Nauseating Thomahon Idol |
| The Wreck of the Hesperus | Maritime Thomahon Idol |
| Kimbo’s Canopy | Arboreal Thomahon Idol |
| The Obsidemon’s Hypogeum | Obsidian Thomahon Idol |
| Drhossil’s Caves | Golden Foluk Idol |
| Kanigrula’s Cave | Scratched Foluk Idol |
| Korriander’s Lair | Fairyesque Foluk Idol |
Tip : Build a group that already knows these dungeons without idols. Once the idol is added, an experienced group finishes far faster than one discovering the mechanics. Our dungeon run guide explains how to get carried.
Resources to gather
The series asks for a lot of resources. The biggest are 600 Nuggets and 15 Sramurai Bones. On top of that come dozens of monster resources in stacks of 10, others in 5 or 3, and around ten rare items required just once.
Rare ones include boss drops such as the Dragon Pig Snout or the Fraktal Pixel: better collected during your dungeon runs than afterwards.
- Write the full list before the first quest and tick items off as you go.
- Buy the cheap ones at the marketplace and save your time for rare drops.
- Use the series’ dungeon runs to collect boss resources at the same time.
Our tips to finish the series
The Turquoise Dofus is mostly won through organisation. Players who get stuck rarely do so on a fight: it is usually an idol dungeon with no group available, or a forgotten rare resource.
- Group dungeons by blessing: Vini, then Thomahon, then Foluk.
- Take the solo tactical fights calmly: they call for thinking more than raw power.
- If your character is under-levelled, powerleveling can close the gap before the idol dungeons.
- Once the Turquoise is yours, the Ochre Dofus is the other great endgame Primordial.
