KamasTrade or Mode Marchand: where should you buy your Dofus kamas?
Mode Marchand is the other name that comes up when looking to buy kamas between players. The model is close to ours, and the useful question is not “which is better” but “what is left of the exchange once it is over”.
Mode Marchand
- An established audience and an already well-filled catalogue of listings.
- A way of working that is familiar to anyone who has been buying kamas for a long time.
KamasTrade
- A timestamped history kept on both sides, readable by moderation if a dispute is opened.
- A publicly displayed seller deposit: the amount they agree to put up, visible before you deal with them.
- An explicit claim window — seven days after closing — rather than an unwritten rule.
- A reputation computed on transactions actually completed on the marketplace, and nothing else.
When Mode Marchand is still the better choice
If the server you care about has no seller here yet, no promise of tracking will replace a listing that exists. Look at your server’s page: if it is empty, go and look elsewhere — that is more honest than making you wait.
Frequently asked questions
Do you have to pay to buy?
No. Buying, chatting and leaving a review are free and unlimited. Only sellers who publish many listings at once have any reason to take a paid plan, and no commission is taken on sales.
What happens if the seller disappears?
You open a dispute from the transaction. It is frozen, and a moderator reads the entire timestamped history before deciding. If the seller had put up a deposit, it is the basis for compensation — which is settled by moderation, not automatically.
