KamasTrade is a marketplace: you are not buying from us, you are dealing with another player. The only thing that seriously tells you whether that player is reliable is their feedbacks — the green and red thumbs left by people who have already dealt with them.
They are hard to fabricate, by design: a feedback can only be left after a transaction actually closed on the site, once, by the other party. A reputation cannot be bought, it has to be earned transaction by transaction. Here is how to read one, and the rules never to break.
Refuse any contact outside the platform
Discord, WhatsApp, Telegram, in-game chat: the moment the exchange leaves this site, there is no timestamped history, no feedback at the end, and no dispute possible. Someone pushing you to move elsewhere is really asking you to give up every form of recourse. It is the single most reliable warning sign there is — before you even look at their reviews.
Reading a member’s feedbacks
The number of reviews, not just the average
A 5/5 over two reviews is not worth a 4.8/5 over two hundred. Green and red thumb counters are shown separately from the average, precisely so a new seller does not look as solid as an established one.
Negative reviews, and above all what they say
One red thumb across fifty transactions does not mean the same as three in a row. Open the reviews: a complaint about a late delivery does not weigh the same as a complaint about kamas never received.
The Pro badge
The Pro badge marks a seller paying for a plan to list more and gain visibility. It is a good indicator: a member investing in their account has a reputation to protect and will not disappear over a scam worth a few tens of euros. It does not replace reviews — it complements them.
The completion rate
This is the share of started transactions that reached closing. A low rate flags a member who accepts then backs out — which leaves no negative review, but wastes your time.
The deposit
A seller can place a deposit. It is used to compensate the buyer if a dispute is settled in their favour. A seller tying up money has something to lose: it is the signal that costs the most to fake.
Account age
The sign-up date appears on every profile. An account created the same day, offering a large stock at a price well below the market, deserves your suspicion.
The stated reply time
It is declared by the seller, so unverifiable up front — but a glaring gap between the stated and the actual delay shows up quickly in the reviews.
What should put you on alert
- A price far below every other offer on the server, with no explanation.
- Pressure to leave the platform (“add me on Discord, we’ll do it directly”). Off site, there is no timestamped history, and therefore no recourse.
- A payment agreed as “goods and services” switched to “friends and family” at the last minute, or the reverse.
- A refusal to follow the six steps, or pressure to confirm receipt before you have actually received the kamas.
- A very recent account, with no reviews, announcing a considerable stock.
The most common traps
Almost every scam on the kamas market relies on the same move: getting you off the site. Outside the tracking there is no timestamp, no evidence, and no dispute possible.
“Shall we carry on over Discord?”
Do not add anyone on Discord, WhatsApp, Telegram or anywhere else to close a deal. Someone insisting on leaving the site’s messaging is almost always trying to escape the history. Every useful message must stay on the transaction: that is what counts as evidence.
Fake profiles
A well-rated seller attracts imitations: a username one letter off, the same avatar, the same description. Before dealing, open the profile from the listing itself and check the review count and account age. An account created two days ago presenting itself as a long-standing seller is not one.
Fake KamasTrade staff
No one from the team will ever contact you in game or on Discord, and will never ask for a password, a payment or a verification code. Our only channels are the transaction’s internal messaging and the contact page.
Confirming a step you did not take
“Confirm receipt, I’ll deliver right after” is the most common line. Never click a step you have not actually completed: every confirmation is timestamped in your name and will be held against you in a dispute.

Frequently asked questions
Does KamasTrade guarantee my transaction?
No, and it is better to know that beforehand. The platform never holds the funds and does not sell kamas: you deal directly with another player. What it provides is the timestamping of the six steps, a public reputation built on real transactions, an optional seller deposit and arbitration if a dispute is opened.
What happens if the seller does not deliver?
You open a dispute from the transaction. Moderation has the entire timestamped history and the messaging. If the seller placed a deposit, it can be used to compensate you. Without a deposit, recourse is limited to sanctioning the account and the negative review.
Why not pay outside the site, it is simpler?
Because you lose everything that protects you. Off the platform there is no timestamped history, no reputation at stake, no arbitration possible. That is exactly why pressure to leave the site is the most reliable warning sign.
Does the Pro badge mean the seller is verified?
It is a good indicator, not an identity check. The Pro badge corresponds to a paid plan: the member pays to list more and gain visibility, so they have an account they care about and a reputation to protect. Cross-check it with the review count, the completion rate and the deposit — it is the combination that matters, not any single signal.
Can feedbacks be bought or faked?
A feedback can only be left after a transaction actually closed on the platform, once, by the other party. Fabricating a reputation would therefore mean running real transactions — possible, but expensive, and cross-checking against account age and completion rate makes it visible.
