6 min read
Frigost has thirteen dungeons, from level 120 to level 200, spread over three areas of the island. The easiest way is to follow the levels: Frigost I, then Frigost II, then the four Frigost III lieutenants, and finally Count Harebourg. The Glourséleste unlocks Frigost III, and the four lieutenants unlock the Count.

Frigost, the frozen high-level island
Frigost is an ice-covered island ruled by Count Harebourg. It is one of Dofus’s major high-level regions: players come for its quests, its resources and above all its dungeons, which form a continuous climb from level 120 to level 200.
The island is split into three parts. Frigost I holds the first dungeons, Frigost II the mid-range ones, and Frigost III the five toughest, including the Count’s. Each part has to be earned: the dungeons of one often act as the key to the next.
Reaching the island and unlocking its areas
The trip to Frigost is a boat ride with Captain Ardier, through the quest « La terre banquise ». You need to talk to him again at every map change during the crossing, until you arrive at Port de Givre. The next quest, « La maire de glace », starts the island storyline. Quest and dungeon names are given as they appear in the French version.
- 1Start « La terre banquise » with Captain Ardier and follow the crossing to Port de Givre.
- 2Work through the Frigost I quests and dungeons to gain levels and resources.
- 3Push through Frigost II up to the Antichambre des Gloursons.
- 4Defeat the Glourséleste at least once: Frigost III opens.
- 5Beat the four Frigost III lieutenants, then face Count Harebourg.
Tip : Save every zaap on the island as you go: trips between dungeons and the marketplace will be much faster.

The recommended order
The natural route is to follow the levels, which match the island’s geography. You grow stronger as you move forward and pick up the resources the next keys require along the way.
Frigost I (120 to 160): Royalmouth, Mansot Royal, Ben le Ripate, then Obsidiantre. The Serre du Royalmouth sits in the Champs de glace; once the quest « Star Ski et Dutch » is done, single-use skis can even take you straight to the entrance.
Frigost II (170 to 190): Tengu Givrefoux, Korriandre, Kolosso and Glourséleste. The Cavernes du Kolosso, in the Crocs de Verre, start by talking to Professor Xa; their first four rooms can be done in any order. Keep the Glourséleste for the end of this stage: it is the one that opens Frigost III.
Frigost III (200): the four lieutenants can be done in any order, then comes the Count.
- Forgefroide de Missiz Frizz: Missiz Frizz and her monsters start invulnerable; each character spawns snowdrifts around themselves at the start of their turn, and an enemy pushed back by a snowdrift, or pushed by a spell, loses that state for one turn.
- Transporteur de Sylargh: Sylargh starts invulnerable, his defeated monsters come back as zombies, and finishing off a zombie while Sylargh stands 5 to 10 cells from it makes him vulnerable for one turn.
- Laboratoire de Nileza: never end your turn next to an ally (summons do not count), or they die on the spot.
- Salons privés de Klime: Klime is invulnerable; from turn 3 onwards, pushing an entity into him removes that state for one turn.
- Count Harebourg: the final boss, with his confusion and his even-turn invulnerability.
Watch out : Boss mechanics change with updates. Always reread the spells in game before a first attempt, especially in Frigost III.
The quests that go with the dungeons
Frigost’s dungeons are not standalone: they are woven into a long quest chain that tells the story of the island’s fall and leads all the way to the Count. The quests are grouped into achievements, each covering one stage of the adventure.
| Quest achievement | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Fri carré | Arriving on the island (La terre banquise, La maire de glace…) |
| La maire dénie | Your first steps on Frigost and its first survivors |
| Halte au péage | Exploring the island, including « Là-haut sur la montagne » |
| L’hiver arrive | Frigost III and the march on the Count |
| L’âme de glace | The finale, up to the Dofus des Glaces |
Tip : Several Frigost bosses also have their own « Porte, … trésor » quest that asks you to defeat them: a good way to earn experience while repeating dungeons.
What you get out of them
The first reward is progression: fights tuned for each tier, experience, and quests that pay out a lot of it. To speed through these tiers, our powerleveling guide explains what can be delegated.
The second is resources. Each dungeon’s monsters drop the ingredients for its own key and plenty of high-level items that sell well at the marketplace.
Finally, Frigost leads to the Dofus des Glaces. It does not drop: you earn it at the end of the island’s great quest chain, which notably requires defeating the guardians of Frigost I, II and III. Our full Count Harebourg guide covers the last step.
- Boss captures with a strong enough soul stone (power 1000 for Count Harebourg).
- Dungeon achievements (Duo, Statue, idols…) for achievement points.
- Count variants with one or all four lieutenants, once the Count is beaten.
