Trading kamas from one server to another

2 min read

No official transfer moves kamas from one Dofus server to another. The only solution is a trade between two players: one delivers on the server you want, you deliver on yours. What matters is the rate, and the order of deliveries.

Why a rate and not one-for-one

A million is not worth the same everywhere. On an old server, where kamas are plentiful, it trades for less than on a recent server. Swapping a million for a million between those two servers would make one of the players lose out.

The right starting point is each server’s price per million: the ratio between the two gives a fair rate. The per-server price pages are there for exactly that.

Delivering on both sides without being cheated

In a trade, each player is both seller and buyer — and someone has to deliver first. That is where scams happen.

  • Agree on the rate and quantities in writing, in a setting that keeps a record.
  • Split large amounts: a first batch, then the rest once the first is received.
  • Let whichever of you has the stronger history deliver first.
  • Check the character’s name in game before each delivery.

Finding a trading partner

On KamasTrade, each game’s “trade” pages list players offering one server for another. The listing states what is offered and what is wanted, and the transaction follows the same timestamped steps as a purchase, without money.

If nobody offers your combination yet, post your own: a trade listing is free and stays visible to players on the target server.

Frequently asked questions

Can you transfer kamas from one server to another?

Not directly: each server has its own economy. The only way is a trade between players, where each delivers on the other’s server.

What rate for a cross-server trade?

The ratio between the two servers’ prices per million is a good starting point. A server where kamas are scarce is worth more than an old server where they are plentiful.

Who should deliver first in a trade?

Whoever has the stronger history, or both in batches. Splitting limits the possible loss to a single batch.
