Selling your kamas for real money
Selling kamas mirrors buying them, with the risk moved: you are the one handing over goods you cannot get back, against a payment that can be reversed. Almost everything comes down to the order of operations.
Setting your price
Look at what the other sellers on your server are asking, and place yourself among them rather than below. Undercutting mainly attracts the most difficult buyers, and it strips away the margin that makes selling worthwhile.
If you are selling a large quantity, plan to split it. A single bulk delivery draws attention, and many buyers would rather receive in several goes anyway.
The payment method decides the risk
A payment can be reversed afterwards — that is the case with a disputed card payment, or a PayPal transfer sent as “goods and services”. Your kamas will not come back. That is the central asymmetry of selling.
This does not mean you should demand the irreversible: a cautious buyer will rightly refuse a method with no recourse. It means matching the level of trust to the amount, and delivering in the right order.
- Wait for the payment to actually clear, not for the announcement of a transfer.
- Split anything above an amount that would put you in difficulty.
- Keep the exchange on the site: a timestamped history is your only proof if the buyer disputes.
- Do not deliver first on a first exchange with an account that has no history.
What the rules say
Ankama’s terms of use forbid exchanging in-game currency for real money. The practice has existed on a massive scale for twenty years, but it remains forbidden, and the seller is exposed just as the buyer is.
KamasTrade puts players in touch and does not sell kamas. We cannot promise you that Ankama approves, because it does not. What we can do is make the exchange traceable between the two people involved.

Publish a listing stating your server, your price per million, your stock and your payment methods. A buyer opens a transaction, you talk through the site messaging, they declare their payment, you deliver in game, and each of you leaves a review. What is the risk for the seller?
The main one is a payment reversed after delivery. It shrinks if you wait for the funds to actually clear, split large quantities, and keep the exchange on the site so you have a timestamped history if a dispute is opened.

No. The paid plans only let you publish more listings at once; they take nothing from your sales.
