Powerleveling on Dofus, with no risk to your account
4 min read
Powerleveling, or “PL”, means gaining levels by fighting in the group of a much stronger player who handles the fights. It is the fastest way to catch up with a friend or level an alt. It is always done with your own character, logged in by you: never by lending your account.

The principle
Your character joins the provider’s group. They chain fights chosen to give a lot of experience; experience is shared among group members. You play your own character and stay logged in: nobody else touches it.
In Dofus 3, the maximum level is 200. Levels come quickly at first and slow down sharply afterwards: that late stretch is where PL saves the most time.
PL is best suited to a few specific situations:
- Catching up with friends or a guild playing at a higher level than you.
- Levelling an alt when you already know the game and its quests.
- Reaching the level required for a dungeon, area or quest you are interested in.
- Skipping level ranges you find repetitive, to get back to the content you enjoy.
What PL gives you, and what it does not replace
A PL levels you up, with what comes with it: 5 characteristic points per level and new spells at certain levels. It does not do everything else for you.
- It does not gear you: plan a budget for equipment at your new level.
- It does not complete your quests or achievements, which remain to be done, often with great rewards.
- It does not teach you your class: a character levelled quickly needs time to get used to.
- It does not spend your points: think about it before the PL, with our guide to characteristics.
Tip : Wisdom increases the experience earned in combat. Gear that gives Wisdom during the PL makes every fight more rewarding.
PL or classic progression?
PL is not the only way to move forward. Each method has its strengths; many players combine them.
| Method | Strength | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Quests | Experience, kamas and items, discovering the game | Slow at some levels |
| Almanax | A reward every day, little time needed | Modest, daily gain |
| Guild dungeons | Resources and achievements on top of experience | Needs an available group |
| Powerleveling | By far the fastest | Paid, gives no gear and does not teach the class |
How a PL goes
A well-organised PL always follows the same steps:
- 1Define the level range you want, your server and your availability.
- 2Compare offers and check providers’ profiles: account age, services completed, reviews.
- 3Write down in the order’s messages the range covered, the time slots and payment by tiers.
- 4Join the provider’s group in game, with your own character.
- 5Spend your characteristic points as you level, and pay for each tier reached.
The golden rule: no account sharing
Ankama’s terms of use forbid account sharing, and it opens the door to theft. An offer asking for your credentials is not powerleveling: turn it down.
- You play your character, in a group.
- Nobody asks for your password.
- Payment is made by level tiers.
Watch out : Also be wary of unrealistic promises (“level 200 in an hour”): they often hide a bot or account sharing, two practices that put your account at risk.
What sets the price
The level range, the promised speed and the provider’s availability. High levels need far more experience than the first ones: the same number of levels costs much more near the end. Prices are usually in kamas; compare the price of kamas on your server to put an offer in context.
On KamasTrade, powerleveling offers state the range covered, and payment is made in tiers.
After the PL: making the most of it
Once you reach your level, three tasks await: gearing up, getting to grips with the spells you unlocked, and catching up on the quests that matter, especially the Dofus quests in our list of Dofus.
For dungeons that block your progress, a dungeon run pairs well with a PL. And if you are levelling an alt, our guide to choosing a class helps you find the one that best complements your team.
Frequently asked questions
Is powerleveling allowed on Dofus?
Playing in a group with a stronger player is part of the game. What is forbidden is handing your account to someone else.
What is the maximum level in Dofus 3?

How long does a PL take?
It depends on the level range and the agreed pace. Each offer states what it covers; set the time slots with the provider.
How do I pay for a PL?
In tiers: part before, the rest as levels are reached. Everything is agreed in the order’s messages.
Do I need to give my login details for a PL?

What should I do after powerleveling?
Gear up for your new level, learn your new spells and pick up the important quests again, such as the Dofus quests.
