Cawwot Dofus guide: how to get it, quests and tips
4 min read
The Cawwot Dofus (Dofus Cawotte in French) is one of the first Dofus within reach. You earn it by completing three achievements on Wabbit Island: two quest series, then a run through the Wa Wabbit’s Warren, where you walk out with the egg. The one real trap: you must be wearing the Wa Wabbit set.

What the Cawwot Dofus gives
The Cawwot Dofus is a level 60 item. It grants 60 Wisdom, which speeds up your experience gain and helps resist AP and MP reduction.
Its effect fits that Wisdom well: if you suffer an AP reduction, you gain 25 AP dodge; if it is an MP reduction, 25 MP dodge. The two effects do not stack and last one turn. To understand these stats, see our characteristics guide.
Prerequisites before you start
The first series starts once you have finished the quest “Finding Wabbitland”, which opens access to the island and is given by an Otomai apprentice north of Amakna village. You also need to be at least level 30. The second series, “A Bogus Wa”, also requires “Wise and Wiser”, a quest from the “But Where Are the Dofus?” achievement.
The quests in the series are designed for levels ranging from 40 for the first one to 80 for “Egg or Cawwot?”. The item level, 60, is a good hint: it is a natural goal for a character leaving the starting zones. If you are new, our Dofus beginner guide helps you get there.
Step 1: the “Cunning as a Lenald” achievement
This first achievement groups eight quests that introduce the Wabbits and their island. They follow on in this order:
- 1Save the Species
- 2Make Love, Not War
- 3Smells Like Cawwots
- 4Houston, We Have a Pwoblem
- 5The Gastronomic Art
- 6A Culinary Expedition
- 7Journey to the Centre of the Wabbit
- 8Pwince Not-So-Charming
Tip : Keep your Wabbit resources during this step: a Cawwot and a Wabbit Paw will be asked for during the series.
Step 2: the “A Bogus Wa” achievement
The second, shorter achievement takes you to the Wabbit king’s castle. It has three quests:
- 1It Never Wains But It Pouws
- 2The Wa Castle
- 3Egg or Cawwot?
Step 3: “The Empewow’s New Cawwots” and the Wa Wabbit’s Warren
Once the first two achievements are done, only the last one remains: “The Empewow’s New Cawwots”. It takes place in the Wa Wabbit’s Warren dungeon.
The decisive moment comes at the end: before leaving the dungeon, talk to the Dofus Keepew while wearing the Wa Wabbit set. He is the one who hands you the egg.
- Wa Wabbit’s Crown
- Wa Wabbit’s Cloak
- Wa Wabbit’s Staff
Watch out : Without these three items equipped when you talk to the Keepew, you cannot get the Dofus. Get them before going in, for example at the marketplace, so you do not have to redo the dungeon.
Fights and resources to plan for
The series stays approachable, but it needs some preparation. Here is what to keep in mind before heading to the island.
| Plan for | Details |
|---|---|
| Dungeons | Wa Wabbit’s Castle and Wa Wabbit’s Warren |
| Fights | 1 solo fight, 1 fight doable as a group, a fight against a Black Wabbit |
| Tile room | One room requires three other players with you |
| Resources | 1 Cawwot, 1 Wabbit Paw |
| Gear | Wa Wabbit’s Crown, Cloak and Staff |
Tip : Struggling with the Wa Wabbit’s Castle or Warren, or nobody around for the tile room? On KamasTrade, players offer to come along: see the dungeon run offers.
Our tips to get it quickly
The Cawwot Dofus is often a character’s first “real” Dofus. It goes fast if you avoid needless back-and-forth.
- Finish “Finding Wabbitland” and “Wise and Wiser” before you set off, or the series will stall halfway.
- Buy the Wa Wabbit set at the start of the series so you do not forget it at the last minute.
- Find three companions for the final dungeon: a guild or friends are enough.
- A slightly under-levelled character can catch up with powerleveling.
- Once the Cawwot Dofus is yours, check our Dofus eggs list to pick the next one.
