The Dofus Almanax: the daily quest that pays out every day
5 min read
The Almanax is a daily quest: each day, an NPC in the Bibliotemple asks for a specific offering and rewards you with kamas, experience and Almatons. After 365 offerings, you earn a Dofus, the Dolmanax. Here is how to fit it into your routine without wasting time.

What is the Almanax?
In the World of Twelve, every day of the year is watched over by a Meryde, a spirit tied to one date of the calendar. The Almanax is the book that lists them, and their temple offers every player a short daily quest: bring the offering requested that day.
For the effort involved, it is one of the most rewarding long-term activities in the game: a few minutes a day is enough. It fits nicely alongside other daily activities such as treasure hunts or wanted notices.
The Meryde of the day also grants a bonus to everyone, even without making the offering: extra experience on certain monsters, more loot, a boost to professions or gathering… It changes every day.
Where is the Almanax temple?
Everything happens at the Bibliotemple, at [-4,-24] in the Cania Plains. The Porkass Plains zaap, at [-5,-23], is right next to it: save it on your first visit, as you will be back every day.
Inside, the NPC who takes the offerings is Théodoran Ax. The temple has several rooms, one per season, where the Merydes reside.
Tip : If you play several characters, send them through the Porkass Plains zaap one after another: the trip only takes a few seconds.
Making the daily offering, step by step
You need to be at least level 20 to make an offering, and only one is possible per day. Your first offering starts the Dolmanax quest, “The Year of the Dragon” (L’année du dragon). After that, the routine is the same every day:
- 1Check today’s offering: the daily quest shows the item and the quantity.
- 2Get the item: gather it, craft it, loot it from monsters or buy it at the marketplace.
- 3Go to the Bibliotemple and hand the offering to Théodoran Ax.
- 4Talk to the Meryde of the day, in the room of the current season.
- 5Return to Théodoran Ax: he gives you the calendar page and the day’s rewards.
Watch out : The daily quest appears at midnight, or the next time you log in. If it is not completed before the end of the day, it disappears without counting.
What the Almanax rewards
Each completed offering gives several rewards at once. Amounts depend on the day, and some on your level.
- Almatons are spent with Xanamla, inside the temple, on a range of items: emotes, pebbles, pets and even the Almanax Codex.
- Some days pay a lot of kamas for a cheap offering: those are the ones not to miss if you want to earn kamas steadily.
| Reward | What to know |
|---|---|
| Kamas | Depends on how rare the offering is; these amounts were halved in 2024. |
| Experience | Grows with your character’s level. |
| Almatons | The Almanax currency, more generous at high level. |
| Calendar page | One per offering; 365 are needed for the Dolmanax. |
| Achievements | The Almanax quest counter unlocks achievements. |
The Dolmanax, the Almanax Dofus
The Dolmanax rewards persistence: you earn it once you have gathered 365 calendar pages, one per offering. It can only be earned once per character.
The good news: you do not need 365 days in a row. Pages carry over from one year to the next, and the quest for a given date is available again the following year. A missed day is simply made up by carrying on.
Do not confuse it with the Dofus Cawotte, which comes from a separate quest chain unrelated to the Almanax: our Dofus Cawotte guide explains it, and the list of Dofus covers every egg.
Tip : Every character on the account can do the daily quest: each one collects its own kamas, experience and Almatons, and works towards its own Dolmanax.
Tips to get the most from the Almanax
The Almanax mostly rewards good planning. A few habits make a real difference over a year.
- Plan your offerings: requested resources often spike in price on the day. Check the calendar for the coming days and buy a few days early.
- Keep your resources: many offerings are gathering or monster resources you already pick up. A small stock saves purchases.
- Use the daily bonus: a day with an experience or gathering bonus is the right time to gain a level or train a profession.
- Do the maths: when the offering costs more than the kamas it pays, the page and the experience can still be worth it, especially if you are aiming for the Dolmanax.
Short on offerings or kamas?
Some offerings are rare resources, or come from zones and dungeons you have not reached yet. In that case, the marketplace is the easiest option: our marketplace guide helps you buy at the right price.
If your budget falls short, you can also check kamas prices on your server and top up your reserve with other players on KamasTrade.
